This blog started out as our belated “megamoon” blog where we recorded and shared our 3 week campervan trip around New Zealand with friends, family and anyone else who found themselves here.  The next year we went to Canada so this seemed like the perfect place to document that journey and it’s now the home to our next adventure: A-me-e-ri-i-ca! (well some of it anyway!)

If you don’t know us, we are Mr.JenkinSunts – a nerdy programmer with a passion for photography, gadgets and Liverpool FC and Dr (Mrs). JenkinSunts (me!) – a (very) bossy and geeky person who likes football (watching and playing), hockey, netball, knitting, reading and failing to learn the piano.  We have a chubby slightly less chubby cat named Lyra who we really miss whilst we are away but she is always in good hands with her two favourite cat sitters.  And, since December 2013 we also have A, our very own mini JenkinSunts.  You can read more about life as a family here.

Let’s hope all our holidays aren’t this wet!

We both love hills, mountains and lakes so New Zealand had been on our “To-do” list for a while, followed by Canada, Yellowstone (and many other National Parks) and Norway so by the end of 2013 we had done 4 out of the 5 places I most want to visit.  Number 5 for me is Hawaii (for the volcanoes) but Mr.J doesn’t like hot places and now we have A I’m not sure we’ll be making any more adventures of this sort for a while but who knows?
